Job Description :
Locum Onsite Diagnostic/Light IR Radiologist needed near Cook County, IL starting as soon as credentialed.
- Schedule: PRN, various blocks of shifts
- Shift Times: 7:30a-3:30p
- Primarily performing Diagnostic Reads with some light IR Procedures. Will involve DX reads, including plain films, CTs, & MRs. Occasionally, there may be a CTP.
- Regarding light IR procedures, some days may have up to six, while others may have none. Below are the expected types of procedures.
- Myelograms
- Lumbar punctures (when done with fluoroscopic guidance)
- Retrograde urethrograms
- Arthrograms
- Joint injections (when done with fluoroscopic guidance)
- All GI fluoroscopy cases, including:
- Video swallows (also known as modified barium swallow studies)
- Upper GI series
- Lower GI series (barium enemas)
- Full contrast lower GI studies
- Air contrast (double-contrast) lower GI studies
- Certification Requirements: Active IL License
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 Days
