Job Description :
Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA needed in McLean County, ND for weekend coverage.
- Schedule: 8am Friday to 8am Monday (24hr shifts)
- Setting: Critical access hospital/emergency room
- Duties: Number of hospital patient's will vary, currently approximately 7-8 per day in ED and 5 patients to round on, once a day, and vary from pneumonia, CHF, COPD, ect. Usually chronic comorbid condition management. Top 5 things seen in ED would be ab pain, chest pain, URIs (seasonal), musculoskeletal pain, and use as an urgent care. Patients per day 5 during the winter months and 10 during the summer months on average.
- EMR: Epic ED and hospital
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 NA, 1 radiology tech, and 1 lab tech.
- Certification Requirements: Active ND License or IMLC, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
