Job Description :
Hospitalists needed for day, night, and swing shifts in Mishawaka, IN.
- BC/TBE IM
- Shift Times: 7a-7p, 12p-12a, 7p-7a
- Hospital Type: Acute
- Closed ICU

Day: 8 day rounding teams

Night: Night doc covers all day patients – takes cross coverage calls and does admissions

Swing: 12p-12a; Swings do admits only, no rounding. They alternate admissions with the day rounding team according to a specific rotation order that we have. So they will take the first admit, give the 2nd to a day rounder, take the 3rd, give the next to another day rounder, take the 5th etc.
- Average Day Census: 15-17
- Average Day Admits: 10-12
- Average Night Admits: 10-12
- Running Codes: Family residence program unless it is a hospitalist patient
- Rapid Response Team: Only respond to own patients
- No APP Coverage
- ACLS required
- EMR: Cerner
