Job Description :
Hospitalist needed for Day, Swing, & Night shifts in Arlington, TX starting as soon as credentialed.
- BC IM
- Schedules: 7a-7p / 1p-1a / 7p-7a
- Acute Hospital
- 312 Beds
- Open ICU - 19 Beds (39 during covid by opening a closed unit)
- # Day Providers: 7, # Swing Providers: 2, # Night Providers: 2
- Average Day Census: 165
- Average Admits: Day-10, Swing-10, Night 6-8
- APP Coverage for Admissions Cross Cover
- Hospitalist &will respond to codes
- Hospitalist is expected to attend RRT but not a mandatory requirement
- No Procedures Required
- EMR: EPIC
- ACLS Required
- Credentialing is about 90 days
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.

Additional Shift Responsibilities:
- Expect to participate in Case Management Meetings / Daily Huddle
- One day in a week will be assigned as Code Coverage Day
- Expect one admission in morning as a night overflow and one can be assigned in the afternoon if its very busy
- Expect to participate in multidisciplinary rounds when applicable
- For swing/admit: usually admits & cross coverage after 7p unless have already gotten 10+ prior to 7p.
- Night MD does admissions. Night NP does cross cover.
