Job Description :
Locum Gastroenterologist needed near North Kansas City starting as soon as credentialed.
- Coverage needed per month: 24/7 call and hospital services, and on campus for approximately 8hrs/day. GI hospitalist role. Daily consults + night call/call back.
- Support staff: APP providers to help round.
- Department Description: Inpatient; consults during the day and procedures as needed.
- Patient Volume: 700 procedures per month on average, inpatient and outpatient. Around 200 consults per month.
- Patient Age Group: 18-above. No peds.
- Closed ICU. Interventional radiology and colorectal surgery.
- EMR/Documentation System: Cerner
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: ERCP trained would be nice but no required.
- Certification Requirements: BC, Active MO License & DEA
- Privileging Timeframe: ~ 90 days
