Job Description :
Locum Gastroenterologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near New Port Richey East, FL.
- Seeking coverage for 2 weeks per month - Open to two providers able to provide one week of call each.
- Call: Beeper.
- Position will be approximately 8 hours per day on-site seeing 5-10 hospital consult patients with variable endoscopy needs.
- Night call is light - 5-10 call-backs per month.
- No admissions. Adult only.
- Required Specialty Skills: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices), Lower GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp).
- Fellowship: Preferred.
- EMR: Cerner.
- ACLS.
- Licensed in FL only.
- Credentialing: 45 days.
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
- $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
