Job Description :
Locum Pediatric Endocrinologist for call and clinic coverage needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Hendersonville, NC.
- Pediatric Endocrinology: 8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday with 24 hour call coverage Monday through Sunday.
- 8 hour days Monday thru Friday with 24 hour call Monday thru Friday.
- Call is mostly phone calls (mommy clinic calls + hospital/ER phone calls). Would be unrestricted home call.
- Must have NC license and DEA.
- Would only need to come in for a new diabetic consult (typically a 48hr admission and only needs to come in at least once to meet the family and arrange f/u).
- Hospitalists admit and manage most patients with phone call support.
- Board certified in pediatric endocrinology.
- EMR is Cerner Powerchart.
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 MA, 1 referral coordinator/scheduler & centralized registration
- $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
