Job Description :
Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed near Sacramento, CA starting as soon as credentialed.
- Contract Length: 6-12 Months
- Physician Shift Times: 6a-2p, 1:30p-10:30p, 10p-6a
- Facility Type: Hospital, Level 3 Trauma - Some admitted locally, otherwise transfer.
- Census: 33k Annual Volume, Avg 2/hr
- Beds: 24 Beds with 9 hall beds available, 125 total Hospital beds
- 15% EMS, 15.22% Admitted
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: MD works side by side with APP’s and has supervision requirements for APP. MD manages all ESI 1-2 and higher acuity 3. APP’s focus on ESI 4-5 and lower/vertical 3’s. APP’s do care for higher acuity patients and have occasional admissions. Specialty Consults (ENT, Ophthalmology, etc.): Cardiology, ENT, Gen Surg, GI, OB, Oncology, Ortho, Peds, Psych, Urology, CC.
- Certification Requirements: ABEM/AOBEM, Active CA License, ACLS.
- Must have a clean file.
- Credentialing: 3 Months, possible to expedite for temps if clean file.
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
