Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Northern Iowa starting as soon as credentialed.

- Open FTE = Open shift coverage
- Shift length: 9- & 12-hour shifts
- On Call: None
Details:
- Reason for the need: Retirement
- Inpatient Responsibilities: No
- Outreach: No
- Number of Physicians: 1-2 Physician coverage day hours. 1 Physician coverage night hours.
- Must be willing to cover some night shifts.
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1-2
- Supervision of APP(s) expected: Yes
- Clinic Provider Daily Volume: ED Volume average 77 patients per day
- Job Responsibilities: ED Physician coverage
- EMR: Cerner Powerchart until June then EPIC
- Teaching Opportunity: teaching hospital
- Trauma Level 3
- 250 beds
- 33,000 annual visits
- Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p
- Transfer out less than 3% of patients
- Requirements: ABEM (Might consider FM), Clean Background, Active IA License, ACLS, PALS
- 60-90 days for privileging
