• What are the shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a.


• No Call.


• What procedures are required: ED procedures including but not limited to (intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction/splinting, chest tube, CPR, suture repair, I&D, central line)


• What are the most common cases the locum will see?  medical complaints (chest pain, abd pain, sob),  basic trauma ( fall, mvc, sports injury). Rarely severe or penetrating trauma.


• What does the support staff include: (nurses, on call specialists).


• What is the average patient census: (55-60 daily. 2 patients per hour), occasional larger boluses of patients (8+ in an hour).


• What are the most common cases the locum will see: Rarely severe or penetrating trauma.


• How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift: 1
