• How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift: 2-3 during day shift (9 am-11 pm), 1 physician from 11pm – 9 am.


• How often are the locums called back on site if on call: No call.


• What procedures are required: I&D, Laceration repair.


• What does the support staff include: RNs, LPNs, Techs.


• What is the average patient census:130.


• What are the most common cases the locum will see: Chest pain, abdominal pain, MVC, extremity injury, cough/illness, abscess, laceration repair, vaginal bleeding in pregnancy.


• Annual ER admissions: 30-35.


• Does the unit use robots? If so, what kind: Psych.


• Must be ABEM.


• $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
