Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a hospital near Grandview, Missouri.

• Shift: (Physician only) 7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a or 7p-7a, 7a-7p.


• No Call.


• Locum need is for equivalent of 4 FTE – urgent need as SMD is leaving at end of May and there will only be 2 FTEs remaining.


• Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends.


• Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's.


• Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts.


• What does the support staff include: No peds, no plastics, no neuro IR, NO cath lab, NO OB.


• What is the average patient census: 81.


• What are the most common cases: Higher population of Level 4 and 5 patients. Do get sick patients which require intubation, central lines (have an ICU).


• Annual ER admissions 12%.


• Does the unit use robots? If so what kind: Neurology, Psychiatric.


• How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift: Varies.


• Will consider FM or IM trained with EM experience. 


• Needs ATLS, ACLs, PALS.


• Must be BC in ABEM or AOBEM


• $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
