• Caseload includes: cardiac surgery , coronary artery bypass and valve replacement, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, cath lab cases, endovascular coverage


• Employed PHD Cardiac Surgeon on staff


• 6 Cardiologists, 1 Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon, 1 Thoracic Surgeon


• 2 Cardiac OR’s, 9 General OR’s


• 3 Cardiac Cath Labs


• 24/7 dedicated cardiac anesthesia team


• 12-bed CVICU


• Non-invasive cardiology areas


• Cardiac Rehab Unit


• EMR - GE Centricity (Outpatient), Cerner (Inpatient)


• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years


• TEE Certification required


• Cardiac Fellowship – preferred


• 120 pump cases per year (average)


• How many cases per day?  Case load   2-10


• Any NP/PA support?   NO


• CRNA’s in all cases   Yes


• CRNA supervision?   Yes  →2:1 ratio (but could hit 3:1 ratio)
