Job Description :
Locum Anesthesiologist needed to start ASAP at a facility near Yonkers, NY. Must have NY license and clean background preferred.
- Schedule: Need to be flexible. Average day on shorter days is 8-10 hours while longer days can run from 12-15 hours.
- Call: 1x 24hr in house call every 6 nights for trauma, general and back up on OB (CRNAs do epidurals, MDs do c sections). 1 back up pager call per week (infrequent call back).
- Case mix includes general, level 1 trauma, ENT, breast, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN, bariatrics, thoracic, gastro, colorectal, endo, dental.
- Care Team Model.
- Level 1 trauma.
- 8 ORs, 2 Endo, 4 LDR, 2 LD OR, 1 NORA per day.
- 5,100 cases per year.
- Clean Background preferred.
- Credentialing 30 - 60 days.
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
- $Competitive Rate weeknight call + Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day + Premium When Called In.
- $Competitive Hourly pay + A++ rated malpractice insurance if needed. Prefers local candidates.
