Job Description :
Northern Chicago group needs a locum Anesthesiologist to fill in at a Northern Chicago suburban hospital. Must have IL license
- Total Number of FTE’s needed? 1-2 MDs
- Reason for Coverage: Vacancies
- EMR: Epic, paper charting in OR
- Coverage Dates: ASAP (ongoing)
- Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: M-F, 40 hours per week (must be flexible with shift length and OT)
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: In house trauma call (no OB) and back up call bundled rates
- Type of Patients/Cases: general, ortho, vascular, off site cardiac EP lab, GI endoscopies, Level 1 Trauma Center **No OB**
- Patients per Day/Volume: average amount, 3-5 cases/day in OR
- Support Staff: mostly MDs, occasional CRNAs, although doing your own cases
- Type of Care Model: Own cases
- Credentialing takes 60 - 90 days
- Possible TEMPS available for clean file
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
- $Competitive Rate weeknight call + Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals Full Daily Rate per weekend day + Premium after 4 hours.
